The Bubble Dome

"When the Bubble Dome was first finished, Goober would sing to Sammie, 'I'm flyin' to the moon, la-la-la-catch me if you can, my Sammie-Ma'am.' And as the years went by, Goober and Sammie entertained each other, playing hide-and-seek in this vast and spacious Bubble Dome. They loved how they could be higher than everyone else, and you could tell they were happy and content. We all delighted in their singing. They acted like they didn't have a care in the world. Even these parrots. lives had changed dramatically for the better.

"With the completion of the Bubble Dome, we started working on many new projects. The biggest was the Twin Prop Electric Wind Tunnels. Shadow came up with a way to produce electricity for the village and drew the designs on how it would work. This became another of our greatest undertakings."

Wrinkles walked up to join us and said, 'Lon, you have seen the whole Christmas Village Complex now, so what do you think?' I replied, 'Wrinkles, in all my life I have never seen anything like this. It is certainly going to be very difficult for me to leave. All the elves I've met have been more than kind to me. Bubbles just told me the story of the Bubble Dome. And that's just one of the amazing stories I've heard since I've been here. Wrinkles, this really is one great place. I'm overwhelmed by everyone and everything. Many thanks to you for allowing me the opportunity to experience your special world.' Wrinkles and Bubbles smiled at me, and I smiled back at them. We basked in the moment. Certainly, we all felt honored to be with each other.
